Now we have finished the metalwork, we blended the paintwork in on Colins 1966 Split Screen Westfalia.
Colin found this bus in Alaska and rolled into a ditch! He bought it to us to repair the metalwork and paintwork, keeping as much of the original paint as possible.
This episode we show how we blended the repairs, and painting the chassis in body colour Mipa Protector.
Next episode will be building the bus back up and adding some 'patina' to replicate the remaining original rust and scratches so the new metal and paintwork look more original to the bus.
