The original Sony PlayStation first came out on December 3rd, 1994 in Japan, and just turned 30 years old. It really feels like yesterday! The PlayStation brand has come a long, long way since then and is synonymous with video games today. To celebrate the PS1’s birthday, let’s take a look at its humble roots by checking out the 8 games that debuted with the system for its late ‘94 launch. These are the games that launched PlayStation into Japan...and the world!
