Varanger - the furthest East you can drive in Europe - vanlife in the extreme North

We have reached the Varanger Peninsula in the far north east of Norway. Our huge tour of the Arctic regions of Europe in our self built Mercedes Sprinter camper van is getting really serious now.

Our arctic preparations are working well so despite the extremes up here, we're safe and comfortable. Varanger is further East than Istanbul, only 20 miles from the coast of Russia and an utterly fascinating place.
