광동제약은 ‘한방의 과학화’라는 창업이념과 ‘새로운 가치를 창출하여 고객의 건강한 삶에 기여한다’는 미션을 바탕으로 2025년까지 ‘휴먼 헬스케어 브랜드 기업’ 비전 달성을 위해 노력하고 있다. 또한 신사옥 건립을 통해 ‘스마트 광동’으로 변모하여 새로운 변화와 도약을 모색하고 있다. 신사옥 건립은 광동의 역사와 현재, 그리고 미래의 가치를 바탕으로 비전과 미션을 담아 설계되었으며, 리서치를 통한 니즈 분석을 통해 임직원에게 프라이드를 제공하고 사용자를 배려한 복지 공간과 창의적인 업무 환경을 조성했다. 과천지식정보타운에 위치하는 신사옥은 2021년 3월부터 3년 6개월 동안 설계와 시공과정을 거쳐 2024년 8월에 준공되었으며, 신사옥의 이름을 ‘광동과천타워’로 명명하였다. 규모는 지하 6층/지상 15층으로, 지하 6층에서 지하 2층까지는 기전실과 주차장, 지하 1층은 썬큰과 연계된 직원 식당 및 라이프케어센터로 구성되어 있다. 1층 메인 로비와 3층 역사홍보관까지 연계된 Big-Stair와 2, 3층의 회의공간, 4층의 라운지는 광동제약이 직원들에 대한 배려에 많이 고민했음을 보여주는 공간이다. 업무공간은 5층부터 8층까지 실험실, 9층부터 14층까지 사무실, 15층은 VIP ZONE으로 구성되었다. 또한 BBQ파티 등 다양한 이벤트와 휴식이 가능한 옥상정원, 4층 라운지와 5층에서 연결되는 후면 옥상정원, 지하 1층과 1층에서 연결되는 썬큰가든과 1층의 전면광장, 후면 필로티 공간으로 구성된 다양한 옥외 휴게공간 조성으로 실내·외 어디서나 접근성이 용이하도록 계획하였다. 신사옥 건립을 통하여 광동제약은 새로운 가치를 창출하고, 최고의 휴먼 헬스케어 브랜드 기업으로 자리매김하게 될 것이다.

The new headquarter reflects Kwangdong's past, present and future values, integrating the vision and mission into its design. Based on the research and needs analysis, the it provides pride among employees and offers a wellness and creative work environment. The new headquarters located in Gwacheon Knowledge Information Town was completed in August 2024 after a design and construction process of three and a half years since March 2021, and the name of the new headquarters was named 'Kwangdong Gwacheon Tower'.
The building comprises six underground levels and fifteen above-ground floors. From B6 to B2, there are MEP room and parkings, and at B1, there are staff cafeteria and a Life Care Center connected to a sunken. The Big-Stair connecting the main lobby on the first floor to the history exhibition hall on the third floor, meeting spaces on the second and third floors, and the lounge on the fourth floor show that Kwangdong Pharmaceutical has put a lot of thought into considering the needs of its employees. The workspaces include laboratories from floors five to eight, office spaces from floors nine to fourteen, and a VIP zone on the fifteenth floor.
Furthermore, the rooftop garden for various events such as BBQ parties and relaxation, the rear rooftop garden connected to the 4th floor lounge and 5th floor, the sunken garden connected to the B1 and 1st floor, the front plaza on the 1st floor, and the rear piloti space are planned to create diverse outdoor rest areas so that accessibility is easy both indoors and outdoors. Through the construction of the new headquarters, Kwangdong Pharmaceutical will create new values ​​and establish itself as the best human healthcare brand company.
