How to connect telemetry modules to the FRSKY X4R and X8R receivers. S Port plug on the X4R is not a servo style connector so you need to solder a servo plug to the bare wires on the provided S Port cable. Serial Bus is called SB Port in the manual just to add confusion. I use the X4R receiver, vario and voltage sensor on my 3ch Radian themal glider.
UPDATE: Someone helpfully pointed out that there are 2 versions of the X4R. The standard X4R has 4 ch and no SBus. Mine is the X4R-SB which is only 3 ch (sacrificing one of the 4 channels for the SBus.) The white wire is A2 input for connecting an analogue sensor.
