Today we're in West Miami, where I grew up. When I'm in town I can't go without a traditional Cuban breakfast at institutions like Islas Canarias, a staple Cuban restaurant, and a busy ventanita (service window) on my side of town. On this episode, I have one of my favorite comfort foods, Cuban breakfast. Croquettas, eggs, seasoned potatoes, cafe con leche, tostada. It all just feels like home.
