FILLING PAGES IN MY SKETCHBOOK!

Welcome Back!!

Today’s video is a calm sketchbook session where I spend some time painting and drawing in a new sketch book. At the start of this year, I set myself a simple goal for the month: to create something every day. This sketchbook has become a place to experiment, try unfamiliar ideas, and gradually push my skills forward.
Much of what I’m drawing is based on reference images rather than original concepts. I often pull inspiration from Pinterest, so if a particular sketch stands out I will have the link in the description. If you’re ever interested in seeing more guided or instructional content from me, just let me know - I’d love to hear your thoughts and put my teaching experience out there for you all.

I’m using my new Hanemuhle sketchbook and the paper has been a pleasure to work with. It wasn’t easy to find here in Australia and took quite some time to arrive, but it’s been worth the wait.
The intention behind these pages is simple practice. I’m spending time working through colour choices, values and layout (areas I’ve found challenging in the past). This sketchbook is a low-pressure space where mistakes are welcome and confidence can grow naturally over time.
