Things we can do to help us get through lockdown:
Hi everyone, i hope you are well and staying safe.
Today i wanted to share with you some guidance and helpful information on getting through lockdown which i was lucky enough to have shared with me from a highly experienced and qualified phycolgist. And i felt i'd like to pass it on to you.
Eat healthy and nutritious food and keep hydrated!
Stick to a routine.
Continue with your Self-care.
Exercise (if possible).
Get fresh air.
Breathe
Access nature.
Connect with others.
COnnect with your children.
Limit Social media scrolling.
Repetative movements.
Seperate your spaces.
Develop your positivity.
List what you miss.
Have fun.
Be creative.
Avoid the rabbit holes.
Help others.
Tidy and control.
Focus on the here and now.
Be kind. Be patient.
This is a time when we need kindness, to ourselves and others. Think of your needs, think of others needs. Be patient with family and friends as they might be having struggles too. Be patient with yourself, perfection is not needed, enjoy working towards it in a positive way but don't apply judgemental pressure to yourself or others.
These are unprecedented times and we are all dealing with it in the ways we can. Try to implement some of the things i've talked about here and see if they benefit you and those around you.
Remember this will end. Be careful, be considerate and stay safe.
