Manila Trip | Manila Hotel | BGC | Life in The Philippines

Hi there. Mabuhay. Sharing you today our day trip to Manila.

We started our trip to Manila from the south. Our first stop was Intramuros, a historic area filled with old buildings and rich history. We weren't able to roam around the historic place this time. Although, hopefully next time I can show you around. While we were in one of the buildings there, we saw this black cat roaming around from one floor to the next.

After the Intramuros appointment, we checked into the Manila Hotel. The lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which made us feel festive and welcomed. Since our travel plans were made at the last minute, we could only book a room with a sunset view. Although it was a bit on pricer side, the view of the sunset was stunning, even though the weather had been gloomy all day.

Once we settled in, we enjoyed some afternoon coffee. I had cappuccino along with a slice of cake and some Filipino delicacies. It was a nice way to relax after our travels.

Later that evening, we went to Red Jade, a Chinese restaurant for dinner. We decided to try their Imperial Peking Duck, which came served in wraps. To our surprise, they made a lot of soup from the leftover duck, and there was so much that we couldn’t finish it all!

The next morning, after having breakfast and checking out of the hotel, we drove to BGC (Bonifacio Global City) to check out some places. We stopped for coffee and cake again before heading home.

Overall, it was a short but enjoyable trip filled with good food and beautiful sights.
