Today we dive back into NASCAR 25 for the running of the Comcast 500 at the legendary Martinsville Speedway. This half-mile paperclip has carried the sport’s history on its tight turns and long, punishing straights ever since it opened in September of 1947 as a dirt oval created by H. Clay Earles. It hosted its first NASCAR event the very next year and has held its place as the oldest track on the modern Cup Series schedule.
