Junro Nidan
This kata is the 2nd kata from the Junro Katas which are part of the JKS syllabus. The Junro katas were introduced to the syllabus by the late Sensei Asai who wanted to develop lesser used techniques, stances and spinning techniques.
Junro Nidan demonstrates a focus on mainly combinations of block and counter attacks as well as two handed attacks. A lot of the techniques prepare from the hips and there is also a wide range of transitions from one stance to the next.
