It was and still is an honor to be Minnie's son. Everything i am and everything I aspire to be is because of the love support and most importantly, the example she set for me. She was a rare gem! Quiet but far from timid, humble but firm in her faith and beliefs, easy going but as complex as the beautiful quilts she loving stitched.
She didn't just exist, she lived! She was an active member of every group, organization, and social circle she was a part of. From warden of her church board, to president of the Quilting Guild and Doll Club, in everything she did, her presence was felt! She was a c-suite executive working for the city of New York but still found time to form lifelong connections with her neighbors and friends.
