The difference between ある and いる is, for the most part, really simple! I'll go over the differences in this video along with some exceptions and where the line between the two Japanese verbs are blurred. Maybe you can think of some other examples of subjects that blur the lines. Comment them down below, and let's brainstorm together!
BTW! We used to take care of a little plant named Midori-chan. We always used the verb いる for her. ;)
