Yes, I had been searching so long, but on January 19, 1981 that all changed forever. That night I felt the earth move under my feet. And the sky came a tumbling down, and my heart started to tremble. Yes, and there was an earthquake, and plenty of aftershocks to follow! That’s right, we were in Earthquake Ethel’s!
Here to help celebrate the moment is the musical group Chicago playing my favorite song of 1974 (and still one of my favorites), with one of their lead vocalists Pete Cetera, (not, but this one is pretty good), the innovative and brilliant drummer Danny Seraphine, (not, but this one still can keep the beat just fine), and top notch guitarist Terry Kath (not, but his replacement gives it a pretty reasonable effort). At least Robert Lamm stuck around for this one!
Sorry to rehash some of the same old photos, but there are a few new ones in here as well. Neither of us had a camera in those early days!
