Community Spotlight: Nalwoodi Denzhone Community

The Nalwoodi Denzhone Community has transformed access to healthy food on the San Carlos Apache reservation. This community organization grows local produce and raises chickens to provide nutritious foods to tribal members who may be facing food insecurity. OneAZ’s partnership and CIG grant funding has allowed the organization to expand and elevate its poultry production to better serve their community.
