On the true crime history of Charles B Pierce's "The Town That Dreaded Sundown" - a fictionalization of the real life Texarkana Moonlight Murders that used a faux documentary approach to chronicle a killer's torment of a small town, its influence as a forgotten proto-slasher, and its meta sequel in 2014 of the same name, which looked to give resolution to a real life mystery that was never solved.
