This session emphasizes thermoregulation and managing hypothermia in newborns. The "Warm Chain" approach ensures newborns stay warm: warm delivery room, drying & skin-to-skin contact, breastfeeding, and warm postnatal care. Nurses play a key role in preventing heat loss and detecting hypothermia. Effective thermoregulation reduces neonatal morbidity and mortality.
