So I took the dogs through the woods as light slipped to darkness and had an amazing experience. I wanted to share it and the artwork that it inspired. It speaks of hope and magic, change and new paths. It made me think of breakthrough and protection and turning cycles on life’s circular path. It took me on a recollection of trauma and darkness and the healing waters that come if we just trust the wheel will turn.
It’s a piece I made inspired and pushed by The Morrigan who has demanding this of me for a while on repeat. A jewelled tarot to honour her and all she has brought.
This experience and the subsequent art piece brings into its arena Brigid and The Dagda too, all brought to me by The Morrigan’s hand and understood in time by me as fundamental to the wheel turning and not remaining on the battlefield.
