The Zühlke Platform Plane: Should it go open source?

The Platform Plane, co-created by Zühlke and LGT, is redefining platform engineering with its innovative approach to managing cloud-native environments. But there’s a big question: Should it go open source?

In this talk, I share the story behind the Platform Plane, how it was conceived, how it has evolved, and the challenges it solves. I also give a live demo, showcasing its powerful features, from GitOps-based deployments and security automation to FinOps tracking and multi-cloud support.

Following the demo, we dive into a thought-provoking discussion with the audience:
