‘Squid Game’ S3: Park Sung-hoon & Kane Ae-Sim on Their Characters' BOND (Exclusive)

Park Sung-hoon and Kane Ae-sim sit down with “Extra” to dish on the third and final season of “Squid Game.” Sung-hoon spoke about how his character Cho Hyun-ju (Player 120), a former special forces sergeant who enters the game to fund her gender-affirming surgery, is selfless, brave and a natural born leader. Ae-sim reflected on the bond that evolves between her elderly mother character Geum-ja (Player 149) and Hyun-ju, after Geum-ja initially had some prejudices. She also shared how she hit it off right away with Yang Dong-geun, who plays her son Park Yong-sik (Player 007). Plus, they both talked about what they hope viewers take away from the series. “Squid Game” Season 3 drops June 27 on Netflix.
