I used about 1/4 of a ball.
Size G crochet Hook - http://amzn.to/2ua3qDu
dc=double crochet
ch=chain
slst=slip stitch into the top chain of the row.
Repeat from * to *
Make magic loop or circle.
Row 1.- Make 12 dc. Close with slst.
Row 2.- *Make 2dc in each chain= 24.
Row 3.- (Make 2dc, ch2, 2dc) into same chain. skip 2 chains 8 times.
slst. into top chain, slst. into space.
Row 4.- (Make 3dc, ch2, 3dc) into same (2chain) space 8 times.
slst. into top chain, slst. next ch, slst. into space.
Row 5.- (Make 4dc, ch2, 4dc) into same (2chain) space 8 times.
slst. into top chain, slst. on each chain and slst. into space.
Row 6.- *(Make 5dc, ch2, 5dc) into same (2chain) space, chain 2 after each
set of 5dc* 8 times.
slst. into top chain, slst. on each chain and slst. into space.
Row 7.- * Make 6 dc into same (2chain) space, chain 2* 16 times.
slst. into top chain.
Bind off, leaving 3’ (foot) long tail.
Cover loop with same thread. You can use a different color or texture if you wish.
Weave tail through each top of the 8 corners of the circle over the loop.
Hang ribbon with feathers or beads under the loop, for decoration.
