Dressing like a 1950s Housewife: Sewing Mccalls M7599 Vintage Dress With Petticoat

This is dress is definitely How to sew a dress for beginners material!!
I love this dress and it was so easy to sew. I love the vintage look and feel that the petticoat adds to this dress totally I authentic 1950s housewife look!
I definitely recommend that if you are looking for a easy dress to sew then give Mccalls M7599 a shot it is most certainly worth a shot and the petticoat just gives it that something extra and that true vintage look and feel.
The fabric is a Batik that I picked up on a fabric shopping trip I took to Michigan fabric store recently to see that video

I sewed the zipper by hand with needle and thread and that is my new favorite method for how to install a zipper.
