In June we visited France and Germany. Join us on our every day trips.
From our holiday accommodation in Trescouvieux we visited the old villages of Aigueze and Labastide-de-Virac (in the morning).
Aiguèze is a commune in the Gard department in the Occitanie region of Southern France. In 2016, it had a population of 217. Since 2005 Aiguèze has been a member of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France ("The most beautiful villages of France"), the first such location in Gard.
Labastide-de-Virac is a commune (pop. about 300) in the southern French department of Ardèche. It features a fort dating to the 16th century.
