"A CRY FOR THE WILD" - End the Torture of Wolves & Wildlife - PSA 2025

One year ago this February, a man named Cody Roberts ran over a young wolf with his snowmobile, taped her mouth shut, and dragged her into a bar— where he proudly took photographs torturing her for social media before proceeding to kill her.

He received a minimal penalty.

Despite international outrage over what you see in this video, Wyoming’s legislature refuses to act. They cannot even agree to make the brutal, pathological torture of a living creature a felony— or pass a simple bill outlawing the use of snowmobiles to chase down and kill wolves and coyotes.

This is not just a Wyoming issue. This is a moral failing of our nation.

Right now, in multiple states, wolves, coyotes, and other wildlife can be tortured—cruelly and publicly—without real consequences. If Wyoming’s leaders will not act, then we must. It is time for federal protections that end the torture of wolves and all wildlife, once and for all.
