Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady XL Sea Terrace

The world's most unique cruise line has one of the best cabins. Take a quick tour of XL Sea Terrace cabin 12330Z on Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady. This cabin boasts 225 sq. ft. of space. The highlight of the cabin, besides the hammock, was the bathroom. Often, cruise cabin bathrooms can be compared to a phone booth. The XL Sea Terrace has a much larger bathroom than the standard Sea Terrace cabin. A large sink with ample counter space is what you notice first. Behind a pair of frosted glass doors, you'll find a shower with rain head and a toilet. So, two people can use the bathroom at the same time and still maintain a level of privacy. The rest of the cabin features a large double bed that can be converted into two singles. A small-ish closet provides a majority of the storage space. There are four drawers and several shelves to store your goods. An upper shelf has two baskets for those items that might like to run away when you're out partying. The best place to store your empty suitcases is under the bed. This will leave you with more floor and/or closet space. The only seating options besides the bed are a small chair and a stool at the desk. For maximum lounging, my I recommend using the sea terrace hammock. It is the perfect spot to enjoy the view, read a book, or take a nap. When it's time for bed (or other nighttime activities), use the control tablet to set the mood lighting and close the curtains. You can also use it to watch movies on your flat screen TV or order items for the cabin such as more towels and water.

For the money, we think that upgrading from the Sea Terrace to the XL Sea Terrace is well worth it. The larger bathroom is the way to go. You won't regret it. Assuming you're like us and can't afford the RockStar Quarters.
