被稱爲"東方之珠"的香港以高度的繁榮而著稱，一些傳統文化也在這裏完美的融合。維多利亞港兩岸商圈林立，吸引購物族們趨之若鹜，而香江上的天星小輪卻有百年曆史；這裏有國內最早的迪士尼樂園，也有大名鼎鼎的黃大仙祠；這裏有數不盡的美食，而獨有的茶餐廳文化卻在全世界所有華人聚集地被發揚光大。
香港在行政上分爲九龍、香港島、新界東、新界西四個區域。九龍和港島隔維多利亞港相望，兩者的面積雖然只占整個香港的一小部分，卻是香港最繁華的區域。新界則像個包圍圈，環抱著香港的外圍，占了全港大部分面積，包括衆多的離島。
新界分布著衆多的郊野公園和步行徑，生態環境優良，展現了香港的生態休閑的另一面。著名的大嶼山也屬于新界範圍，香港迪士尼樂園、青馬大橋、寶蓮寺大佛、香港國際機場都位于大嶼山上。還有南丫島、西貢、長洲都是新界離島上的顆顆明珠。

Hong Kong, known as the "Pearl of the East", is famous for its high prosperity, and some traditional cultures are also perfectly integrated here. On both sides of the Victoria Harbor, there are numerous shopping district buildings attracting people in droves, and the Star Ferry on Xiangjiang River has one hundred years of history; there is the first Disney theme park in China and famous Wong Tai Sin Temple; there are countless unique cuisine and tea culture which is famous around the gathering places of overseas Chinese.
Hong Kong is administratively divided into Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, New Territories East and West region. Kowloon and Hong Kong Island are on the other side of Victoria Harbor. Although the area of the two is only a small part of Hong Kong, they are the most prosperous area in Hong Kong. The new territories, like a circle, encircle the outside of Hong Kong, making up most of the area, including a large number of Islands.
There are many suburb parks and walking paths in the new territories, and the ecological environment is excellent, which shows the ecological leisure side of Hong Kong. The famous Lantau Island also belongs to the scope of New Territories; Hong Kong Disney Park, Tsing Ma Bridge, the monastery Buddha, and Hong Kong International Airport are all located in Lantau Island. Also, Lamma Island, Xigong, and Cheung Chau are treasure in outlying islands in New Territories.
