This is the moment when Japan’s most well-known Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, was assassinated. The assassin was an unemployed man in his late 30s and a former member of Japan’s Self-Defense Forces.

Later, he confessed that his mother had fallen deeply into the Unification Church, which he considered a cult, and had donated most of the family's assets. As a result, his brother committed suicide, and he himself was unable to attend university due to financial difficulties.

Consumed by resentment, he believed that Abe had close ties to the Unification Church and blamed him for his misfortunes. He eventually assassinated Abe out of that grudge.

However, it was later confirmed that Shinzo Abe had no special connection with the Unification Church and was not affiliated with it in any meaningful way.
