Interesting trove of full color 8mm footage from 1947. 43 year old Jeanette Ramaley with older relatives (?) at a salmon hatchery, location unknown; beautiful images of Jeanette's sweet peas at the family farm in Monroe, WA and the earliest version of their famous roadside stand (and a brief clip of teenage Verna); documentary style clips of the pea harvest - what an operation! Note the women doing much of the pitchforking. Very curious who this crew is and where the harvest is taking place - I think Tom Ramaley can be seen distributing vines from the conveyor to the flatbed. Perhaps Ralph decided to accompany him and film the process. Great footage!
