This beautiful aradhana is observed every year on Pushya Bahula Panchami on the day when Saint Thyagaraja attained samadhi.
One of the Carnatic Trinities, Saint Thyagaraja, a huge devotee of Lord Rama, composed thousands of krithis in the praise of the Lord, covering various emotions.
I have shared some facts about this great Saint and his musical journey.
This video concludes with a recent rendition of Pariyachakama, a composition of Saint Thyagaraja, where he asks Lord Rama, "Are you ridiculing me? If out of fear, out of doubt or out of grief, seeking you - if I ask for refuge, will you mock me?"
