"Wither" is a song about change, about the will to leave the past behind and move on and get on a new path. I believe, the creation process of this song actually fits the idea perfectly. At the time when I started the song, I knew that I needed to change something in my life, but I wasn't sure how to do it, or where to go. The next two years brought a lot of clarity and the understanding that you need to let go of some things from your past, or there won't be any room for the change. Interestingly enough, the final touch of inspiration for this song came to me when a person who I recently met said something very meaningful to me... Whether they knew it or not, it was the final piece of the puzzle.
