MILANO vs SCANDICCI | HIGHLIGHTS | Coppa Italia 2025. Savino Del Bene Scandicci – Numia True Volley Milano 2-3 (21-25; 25-19; 23-25; 25-19; 12-15).

A show was staged at the Unipol Arena in Casalecchio di Reno between Numia Vero Volley Milano and Savino Del Bene Scandicci in the second semifinal of the 2024/25 edition of the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa . After more than two hours of play, the first women's team of the Consortium prevailed, beating the Tuscans in five sets (21-25; 25-19; 23-25; 25-19; 12-15) . Another challenge between the two teams that was decided in a tie-break: Milan started off strong and, led by Egonu, won the first set; in the second set Scandicci found itself again and, despite the Milanese team's attempts to come back, tied the scores (25-19). In the third set, the same script as the opening set with Vero Volley having to contain the Tuscans' attack towards the end, without however letting themselves be worried. The fourth set opened with parity, but at 16-14 Savino Del Bene changed pace, thus sending the challenge to a tie-break. After the opening break by the Tuscans, Orro's service turn was decisive in distancing Lavarini's team and with Pietrini and Danesi closing the challenge.

The MVP of the match was Anna Danesi , who scored 11 points that gave Vero Volley the passage to the final. Paola Egonu also scored in double figures for Milan with 30 ground balls and Sylla with 14. It is once again time to dream big for Numia Vero Volley who is now preparing to experience its third consecutive final in the Italian Cup. Tomorrow, Sunday 9 February , at 3:20 pm (live on Rai 2 and VBTV) , coach Lavarini's girls will find Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano on the other side of the net - once again as in the last two editions - for what has now become a great classic of women's volleyball and which will award the second national trophy of the season.
