In this episode I discharge and tear down my Sony Trinitron KV-27S26 CRT TV. This is the same TV/Monitor I used in the convergence strips test video linked here:

I still wasn't satisfied with the results of the convergence strips alone and decided to pull the monitor apart to get a full capacitor replacement. I want to see how much a capacitor replacement will improve my picture quality. I also check the board to see about adding RGB to this Consumer TV!
