Game Overview: Subway Surfers is a mobile endless runner game created by Kiloo and SYBO Games, two Danish companies. It is available across various platforms, including Android, iOS, Kindle, and Windows Phone, and uses the Unity game engine. In the game, players take on the role of young graffiti artists who are caught in the act of tagging a metro station. To escape the inspector and his dog, they must dash through the train tracks. Along the way, they collect coins, power-ups, and other items while avoiding collisions with moving trains and other obstacles. Players can also jump on top of trains and use hoverboards to dodge capture. The game ends when the character crashes into an obstacle, gets caught by the inspector, or is hit by a train. Special in-game events, such as the Weekly Hunt, offer rewards and unlock new characters.

Subway Surfers was first released on May 24, 2012, and the game receives seasonal updates regularly. From January 2013 onward, the game adopted a "World Tour" theme, which rotates the setting of the game every three to four weeks, often coinciding with seasonal holidays.

In 2017, Subway Surfers became the most downloaded game globally.

Gameplay: Subway Surfers is an endless runner game where players begin by tapping the screen. The main character, Jake (or another character), is caught spray-painting a train and begins running to escape the inspector and his dog. Players can swipe in various directions (up, down, left, or right) to dodge obstacles such as moving trains, poles, tunnel walls, and barriers. Swift movements earn points, and the faster the player runs, the more points they collect. If the character crashes into something, the game ends, but players can continue by using keys.

While running, players gather various items like coins, keys, score multipliers, super sneakers, jetpacks, magnets, mystery boxes, and power jumpers. Super sneakers allow higher jumps, jetpacks let players fly, the coin magnet attracts coins, and the power jumper boosts the character into the air.
