With the beginning of this highly-anticipated Test series between two of the best Test nations on the planet less than 24 hours away, I have looked at both nations' squads for this series, and have made my predictions surrounding both the matchday XI’s and the eventual series outcome. With both sides making minimal changes to their squads from their most recent preceding Test series, it’s safe to say there shouldn’t be any major selection shocks throughout the series. In terms of the actual cricket though, this should be one of the best series of this current World Test Championship cycle, as I expect both teams to take each contest right down to the wire, and fiercely compete in what should be a true display of the beauty of Test cricket.
