This is a course on Sharḥ al-Maḥallī ʿalā al-Waraqāt in Uṣūl al-Fiqh (أصول الفقه), taught in English for students of Islamic knowledge who are seeking a deeper understanding of classical Shāfiʿī legal theory.
This class builds on the foundation laid in al-Waraqāt by Imām al-Juwaynī (الإمام الجويني), exploring the detailed commentary of Imām Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī (جلال الدين المحلي), one of the most respected figures in the Shāfiʿī madhhab.

• To provide structured, accessible instruction in Uṣūl al-Fiqh using traditional texts
• To serve students who are already familiar with basic concepts of fiqh and are ready to engage with classical commentaries
