A song to be featured in "Zhohi Shoon-Kah: The Origin" - a 2026 original theatrical movie and contemporary action drama experienced through the perspective of a young Native American woman in today's cancel culture. The story was created by screenwriter, Chip Miller and Indigenous pop star, singer/songwriter, and actress, Jana Mashonee, who served as the muse for the title character. Miller directed this performance video of Mashonee captured at the historic Lensic Theater in Santa Fe, NM, and features Mashonee with a master of the Hoop Dance, Lumhe Micco Sampson, son of iconic Native American actor, Will Sampson ("One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest", etc.), reenacting a dance and an original song by Mashonee, that will be featured in "Zhohi Shoon-Kah: The Origin".
This video is a Desert C.A.M. Studios production. It was produced and edited by Travis Miller. Bryan Greenberg was the DP.
