📖 Plot Summary:
Baseraa is a heart-touching tale of love, sacrifice, and the fragile bonds of family.
Balraj Kohli (Shashi Kapoor) and Purnima (Rekha) live a contented life with their sons. But everything changes when Sharada (Raakhee), Purnima’s elder sister and Balraj’s first wife, returns after 14 years in a mental institution — unaware that her husband is now married to her own sister.
In a desperate attempt to protect Sharada from another emotional breakdown, the family stages their life as if nothing has changed. But when truth breaks free, emotions surge, hearts shatter, and an unforgettable sacrifice is made by the woman who once held it all together.
