R211T (C) Train Open Gangway Action!

After a long period since delivery in 2022 and lots of testing, the open gangway version of the R211, the R211T, finally enters service on the (C) line for revenue testing!
The R211T is the same as the R211A but features open gangways instead of having doors between the cars. This makes it significantly easier to switch cars onboard the subway train. This is the first time since the 1960's that a nyc subway train uses open gangways!
I was not expecting it but my experience riding the R211T for the first time was way more exciting that I though it would be. It impressed me more that the R211A I must say. It is a fun train!
2025 Update: All R211Ts now run on the (G) train.
