Project Diablo 2 (PD2) Season 12 Closed Beta: DClone TEST: Autosync vs. No Autosync on Frenzy Barb!

The Frenzy Barbarian is back, and this time we're taking on the ultimate challenge in the Project Diablo 2 Season 12 Closed Beta: Diablo Clone (DClone) on Tier 0!

This video serves two purposes: first, to showcase the sheer powerhouse status of this fully-geared Melee Splash Barbarian against one of the game's toughest bosses. Second, and more importantly, we are testing the impact of the new Autosync feature. Desyncing has always been a pain point for melee characters in PD2, with constant obstructions causing you to lose your true position among monster packs. Autosync promises to keep you locked in the correct position, eliminating that frustrating guessing game.

We put the feature head-to-head against DClone. In our first run, we tackle the boss without Autosync enabled. Then, we immediately run it a second time with Autosync active. While the difference may not be as immediately noticeable as it was on the Frozen Orb Sorceress (where desync is less of an issue for ranged attackers), the key value of Autosync for melee is its ability to maintain stability and prevent you from getting unexpectedly stuck or out of position during the fast-paced Frenzy attack. This leads to a smoother, more reliable kill, especially in high-density areas.

This build is still an absolute monster, providing an unparalleled mix of offense and defense that makes these challenging encounters manageable.
