Went to Chandannagar on a food trip, this time I was accompanied by Mr. Sayantan Mukherjee of @letsgobong YouTube channel.
We visited legendary 215 year old Surjo Kumar Modak sweet shop to have some true Bengali Mishti experience and tried their Jolbhora Sandesh and other sweets. This brand claims that they are the inventor of Jolbhora Sandesh.
Later on we had a hearty homely Bengali meal experience at famous Deshbandhu Hindu Hotel, which is popularly known as Madhu Babur hotel to locals and maybe this is the first Bengali pice hotel of Chandanngar which has started long ago.
Overall we enjoyed our day nicely and I hope you all will enjoy this video.
