DIY Diwali Decoration Ideas | Paper Lantern

In this video i show you how to make super simple paper lantern. This is very easy to make and you can make it in very less time. These lanterns look very beautiful. You can make them in more colors.

Hi guys! Welcome to my channel! Hope you all are doing great! In this video I am gonna show you how to make cute, beautiful and super simple paper lanterns for diwali.This is a very simple and easy project and you can make these in different colors and decorate your home this diwali. I have made these in yellow and pink color. Loving these lanterns and their colors.

Material required

A4 sheets of paper ( two thin sheets )
A4 sheet of paper ( one thick sheet ) ( i have used cardstock paper )
Glue stick
Thread
Scissors
Hole punch

How to make
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Cut 1 inch stripes from thin sheets of paper. You have to cut total of 16 strips from two thin sheets of paper. Now cut 1 inch strip from thick paper and keep it aside. Now join the thin stripes as shown in the video and stick them to the thick strip as shown. When you stick the last piece, do not stick the bottom of it. Now apply glue on the thick strip and stick the other end on it, this will give it the shape of the lantern. Now stick the bottom part of the last piece as shown. Punch four holes as shown and tie thread. Measurement of the thread is 8 inches. Tie them all together and hang it. Your cute, beautiful and super easy lantern is ready.
