Corsica Ferries, Bastia (Corsica) to Toulon (France) aboard Mega Smeralda.
Both ports are exceptionally accessible for those travelling either on foot or in a vehicle; located within the waterfront towns which offer an array of restaurants, bars and independent shops - why fly and land miles away?!
Onboard this large cruise ferry one will find an array of facilities which are located on decks 4, 7 & 8.
Foot passengers embark/debark via a dedicated walkway on Deck 4, a deck which offers a shop and children's playroom along with the ships' reception.
Decks 7 & 8 offer dining areas (I had the most tastiest paella ever!) and bars. At the forward end one will find a spectacular split level bar with mezzanine deck and a wall of glass offering magnificent forward views across the bow.
The stern restaurant and lounge were closed.
On the upper deck, accessed by its own stairwell, one will find a lounge/bar with a vaulted ceiling and floor to ceiling windows, comfortable seating and large wall mounted flat screen TV's.
Externally one will find a considerable amount of open deck space to get fresh air and marvel at the passing vistas; a bar can be found at the stern.
