Our Mission
We created this channel to provide a variety of resources to help Arabic language learners and their teachers. We focus on the Levantine dialect, which is spoken in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Palestine.

Many students experience frustration when they learn that the MSA (Modern Standard Arabic, or Fusha) they studied in school does not help them communicate in daily life. If you want to understand what people are saying, and communicate with native speakers, it is necessary to study a dialect. Unfortunately, there is not nearly as much content to help students with dialects as there is for MSA. We want to contribute to changing this!

So we teamed up and created this project! Yalla Arabee is created from the perspectives of an Arabic teacher and an Arabic student. So we know what works, and what doesn't when it comes to learning Arabic from both sides!
