Deccan Sikhs | Roots Connection between Nizam Hyderabad,Maharaja Ranjeet Singh | Adbi Baithak Ep 17

There is the gate of the colony settled as a cantonment of the Lahori army in Hyderabad where Nizam IV, on the suggestion of his minister Chandulal, had sought help from Maharaja Ranjit Singh and asked for help from Sikh soldiers to run his political settlement.

Here the Sikhs came in 1832 and served Nizam IV and established Gurdwara Barambala Sahib. With this relationship, Bidar and Hazur Sahib Takht were built. This was possible with the help of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Nizam IV who was sitting in Punjab.

The Deccan Sikhs are the residents of these places as Sikligar, Vanjare and Lahori army. Interview with Sardar Sajjan Singh about Sikhs from Hyderabad.

ਇਹ ਹੈਦਰਾਬਾਦ ਵਿਖੇ ਲਾਹੌਰੀ ਫੌਜ ਦੀ ਛਾਉਣੀ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸੀ ਉਸ ਕਾਲੋਨੀ ਦਾ ਦਰਵਾਜਾ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਨਿਜਾਮ ਚੌਥੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਚੰਦੂਲਾਲ ਦੇ ਸੁਝਾਅ ‘ਤੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਤੋਂ ਮਦਦ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਆਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਫੌਜੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਜਸੀ ਬੰਦੋਬਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਮਦਦ ਮੰਗੀ ਸੀ।

ਇੱਥੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ 1832 ਵਿੱਚ ਆਕੇ ਨਿਜਾਮ ਚੌਥੇ ਲਈ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਰਮਬਾਲਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਬਿਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਹਜ਼ੂਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਵਿਖੇ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਹੋਈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਬੈਠੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਿਜਾਮ ਚੌਥੇ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਸੰਭਵ ਕਰ ਸਕੇ।

ਦੱਖਣੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਸਿਕਲੀਗਰ ਵਣਜਾਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਹੌਰੀ ਫੌਜ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਥਾਂਵਾ ਦੇ ਵਾਸੀ ਹਨ। ਹੈਦਰਾਬਾਦ ਤੋਂ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸੱਜਣ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ
