Well, the owners of the home we're going to look at today wanted to retain the heritage look, but then also include a host of modern innovations to suit their lifestyle. Now we're going to show you some before pics, which are going to show you just how the front facade and many of the original features were virtually destroyed in the 1960s and 1970s with some poor renos. Now, this home has been professionally renovated from the front fence, right through to the back fence. Come in and have a look around. Just coming into the entry, you realize that this renovation has blended heritage with modern classic. The entry and the hallway, as you can see, have been altered some years ago, but now shine again with this professional renovation. To tell us more about this now magnificent home, we're speaking with Steve Burke, managing director of Amerex Renovations and Additions. Now Steve, this home has come up so well from what was. Can you tell us about the brief you had from the owners?

Yeah, sure. So the owners wanted a large family home with a guest wing, and keeping all the character of the original house, including al fresco and undercover parking from the rear and including a media room, which has turned out to be a table tennis room because their son's very good at table tennis. So including in the brief was a keep a character, which we can do really well with the floorboards, the high ceilings, the feature cornices, and the architraves and doors. So I think we've achieved that with the open plan area and keeping all the character of the old house.
