Because the Environment Agency have closed the lock campsites I had to come off the trail for accommodation again on this day so the trail path I covered was from Radcot Bridge to a path junction between Shifford and Standlake Common. However I actually walked from Faringdon to Southmoor approx 15 miles. If you’re planning the walk yourself please be aware that accommodation choices are available but limited in this section and there isn’t much public transport directly from the path. It all gets much easier after this bit though.
