On May 16th 2016, a glorious early summer day, following a 33 year restoration 35006 finally re-entered traffic at Toddington on the Gloucestershire & Warwickshire Railway. She was renamed by Pete Waterman in a private ceremony attended by shareholders and members of the 35006 Locomotive Society. Following this, the immaculate Merchant Navy Class locomotive hauled two twelve coach trains on return trips to Cheltenham. Congratulations to all concerned in this superb restoration. This video is dedicated to all those who didn't live to see the dream come true.
