Lexus didn’t get the memo, and co-developed a thunderous 5.0 V8 with Yamaha, and slipped it into their mad RC Coupe with an 8 speed automatic transmission. The result was the incredibly rare RCF…
When road tested back in the day, the car was criticed for not having the handling and performance to match the equivalent German sports coupe / saloons, and not taking enough inspiration from the brilliant Lexus LFA, but John reviews this car in 2025 to see whether it was unfairly treated 10 years ago.
