Rare Fin Whale Encounter (Madeira)

Only 200 m off the Coast of Calheta (Madeira) we were unbelievable lucky to see these amazing creatures passing by. Normally, Fin Whales are only seen in deep waters and not close to shore. Being the closest relatives to Blue Whales and the second largest animals alive, Fin Whales are easily distinguishable from similar looking whales such as the Sei or Bryde's Whale by their white colouring only on the right side of their fronts.
I wouldn't have expected Madeira to offer us this, so I am very happy about these beautiful shots of these Gentle Giants and will continue my "camera hunt" for such epic shots.
Sorry for some janky drone movements, but I rather have the shot being a little longer in order to enjoy these creatures a little longer than having everything perfectly edited.
