We visited the Grand Canyon – South Rim, one of the most breathtaking natural wonders in the world 🌄
The weather made the experience even more unforgettable. Our drive started with rain, which quickly turned into snow, and by the time we arrived it had stopped completely. At first, thick fog blocked the view, leaving us wondering if we’d get to see anything at all. After about 30 minutes, the fog slowly lifted — and suddenly the canyon revealed itself in all its majestic beauty. Totally worth the wait.
A few quick facts about the Grand Canyon:
The Grand Canyon is about 446 km (277 miles) long
In some places, it’s over 1.6 km (1 mile) deep
The South Rim is the most visited part of the canyon and is open year-round
The canyon was carved over millions of years by the Colorado River
This was one of those moments where nature truly puts everything into perspective. If you’re planning a visit, be patient — sometimes the best views come after the wait.
